I live in Upper Michigan. I tired getting help through the state also, I managed to get 39 dollars in food stamps. I'm happy with that LOL...it was getting to the point do I pay bills or buy food. I would try local churches to see if they can help you in any way, or try the state again but only for food stamps.
Don't give up....like you said....God closes one door and opens another.

Well I took my twenty dollars that I got from doing the surveys and went to Goodwill. I managed to buy two sweatshirts and one sweater for my daughter and a jacket for my son. So I did get some clothes but still need more.

You are a truely amazing person, to give so much to another family. The only thing I am looking for is winter clothing for my two children. They are in need of pants,sweatshirts or sweaters. Girls size 6 and boys size 8.

Hi, I'm Darci a married mom to two wonderful kids ages 5 and 9. Even though my husband and me work very hard at our jobs,even working overtime at times we are having trouble making ends meet. I need help in the area of buying winter clothes for my children. I managed to scrape up enough to buy their supplies, and a few clothes at rummage sales to start them off at school. Now they need warmer clothes which I can't afford to buy. Is there is anyone that can help me...please? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
